The Royal Science and Technology Park (RST) is a public enterprise whose function is to foster the conception of inventions and facilitate their patenting and help knit various elements of the R&DRST  cluster together. Eco-Connect is geared toward creating awareness among grassroots entrepreneurs of the dire need to conserve environmental resources and to provide them with turnkey eco-businesses, such as waterless car wash, waste collection, recycling electronic equipment, and electric freight service.

The eight-month programme has a two-pronged approach to developing both the entrepreneur and his business and includes personal development, business feasibility, marketing, sales, finance, technology, quality and business functions.
