Call for Proposals

The 8th BRICS Young Innovator Prize will be a part of the 10th BRICS Young Scientist Forum (Forum) that will take place on September 15th -17th, 2025 in Brasilia, Brazil, under the Brazilian presidency in the BRICS group. The planned thematic area of the contest is: Artificial Intelligence applied to Public Service Solutions. How can emerging technologies improve the lives of citizens in BRICS countries? Projects on other topics will not be considered.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PROJECTS 

The Regional Innovation Support Programme (RISP), a programme established by the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation is calling for proposals for grant funding on the following two separate and independent elements:

Eureka calls for applications for the Eureka Quantum 2025. The main objective of this call for projects is to support organisations as they develop quantum technologies that outperform or accelerate existing technologies and contribute to solving problems relevant to industry, science, and society.

This call for research and development (R&D) projects may include topics such as, but not limited to:

The Innovation Hub Management Company (TIHMC) invites qualified and experienced service providers to submit proposals for the upgrading and operation of the cosmetic manufacturing facility housed at BioPark Gauteng.

The project “Capacities for the Energy Transition” (CET) under the South African-German Energy Programme (SAGEN) invites service providers to submit proposals for the development of a C-Suite Women in Energy Empowerment Programme in South Africa.
