This technology provides a method for making a nanofluid by nuclear irradiating a mixture of a base fluid and precursor to form the nanofluid. Nanofluids exhibit superior thermal properties such as enhanced thermal conductivity, viscosity, heat transfer coefficient, dielectric strength, etc. However
