The South African Space Agency (SANSA) and the National Research  Foundation (NRF) invite start-ups, small, medium and micro enterprises (SMMEs), and entrepreneurs to submit applications for funding through the New Earth Observation Frontiers Enterprise Innovation Support Fund (NEOFrontiersEISF).

This initiative is a sub-program of NEOFrontiers, which is funded by SANSA and managed by the NRF to support skills, technology and product development.

NEOFrontiersEISF will focus on novel uses of  Earth Observation in the following areas:

SMME's are invited to submit applications to be assisted with equipment, tools, raw materials or stock up to R250 000 each. 

Requirements

 1. Micro Enterprise’s Business Case / Funding Proposal;

2. Proof of registration with SARS (i.e. Tax clearance certificate if applicable);

3. FICA documents for the Micro Enterprise and members/directors (e.g., Municipal accounts, letter from traditional authority);

4. CIPC Registration Documents (e.g., CR-10 and Constitution);
