The Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office invites you to submit a proposal for; Mapping Donor and Investor Landscape in Science, Technology & Innovation for Growth and Poverty Reduction in Africa.
The purpose of the project is to analyse and map science, technology & innovation investments for economic growth and poverty reduction in Africa over the last 5 years, to provide a comprehensive overview of investments, reach, thematic and/or sectoral focus, beneficiary types and partnerships involved. To include the pipeline of commitments that are still active and their duration.

Value of Funding: Up to £100,000
Closing date: Wednesday, 13 January 2021 at 2pm UK time.
The project will deliver a report to include analysis of the total amount of ST&I investments/funding available to respective African country segregated by investor type; levels of funding support across the innovation value chain; level of in-vestment by themes and sectors; the gaps and partnership opportunities for better enabling scale-up for impact.
Eligible countries: Angola, Botswana, Cameroon, Ghana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia, Zimbabwe
Eligible organisations: Non-governmental organisations (NGOs), UK-based non-profit organisations, UK-based small and diaspora organisations, Companies, Local government, Educational institutions, Individuals, Humanitarian relief organisations
