Overview of research project
The COVID -19 outbreak led to the closure of academic institutions worldwide, leading to the introduction of online teaching and learning. Students had to consume the University's academic services electronically. Library services (access to online material and information literacy training) had to be accessed electronically due to the lockdown rules. Although the university provided students with electronic devices for online learning, there were various challenges that students faced during the online learning experience. These include access to library resources and services. Covid-19 brought a lot of inequalities and inequities amongst our students to the fore. This research seeks to unpack these challenges and to come up with possible ways to support the students better.
