Overview of research project
This research project looks at how Quarantine was used as a preventative measure in the fight against Covid-19. It seeks to asses the impact of Quarantine towards flattening the curve. It also delves deeper into the concept of Quarantine and how South Africans got to experience it and apply it in their daily lives between March 2020 and July 2020 as social distancing became a health imperative.

I wish to apply for funding so that finance should never be a hindrance during my research and data gathering. As an unemployed post graduate student at Wits University I believe funding will allow me to focus my energy on complete the research project.
I also selected the Expertise opportunity because I believe that the SA Medical Research Council can assist me with access to experts in the filed of medical research and those who have dealt with the pandemic as frontline workers.
