Overview of innovation

The invention relates to an energy-generating system that makes use of polyethylene plastics (that would otherwise result in environmental pollution) to produce synthesis gas (syngas). Unlike conventional gasification systems that rely on oxygen, this system ensures that the gasification of polyethylene to generate syngas takes place in an anaerobic state, therefore completely removing the air separation step, which significantly lowers energy costs. This system turns non-recycled plastics into power, converting a harmful waste material into something useful.
