Medical Devices and Diagnostics Technical Support Service Providers Pitching Sessions
The Medical Device and Diagnostic Innovation Cluster (MeDDIC), under the auspices of the South African Medical Research Council (SAMRC), is inviting you to join the launch of the recently established Medical Devices and Diagnostics Technical Support Platform. platform was established to assist in bridging the gap between the identified need for technical support by medical device and diagnostics developers/innovators and access to the relevant resources, capabilities and infrastructure that can enable technology development, testing, registration, manufacturing and commercialization.
As part of the initiation phase, MeDDIC issued a call requesting information from local service providers operating in this arena throughout the product development life cycle. You are therefore cordially invited to session (s) where the service providers will present an overview their services to increase awareness of their capabilities and share how the general
public can access their expertise and services. Summary of currently collated service providers will be provided and may also be accessed on the MeDDIC Innovation Bridge Portal. Responses were received from organizations offering services such as but not limited to:
- Product design
- Prototyping
- Product testing
- Regulatory support
- Manufacturing scale up
- Product Lifecycle Management
- Techno-economic assessment
