Overview of Organisation

The Mbabane Hub, a registered non-profit organisation in the Kingdom of Eswatini, Africa, is a youth-led and youth-driven chapter of the Global Shapers Community, an initiative of the World Economic Forum.

The Mbabane Hub is a working example of exceptional young people who work together in their own right, and are passionately involved in the enrichment of the greater Mbabane city and the people of our beautiful kingdom as a whole. Our commitment as Shapers is to prove that no vision is ever too big, nor hub city too small, to make a positive and lasting contribution to the community, through our Hub’s commitment to its “3 Es”: education, empowerment, and exceptionalism.

Areas of impact of the Mbabane Hub:

Arts and culture: Arts and culture are fundamental to a healthy society, helping people interpret the world and each other.

Cities and urbanisation: Smart and sustainable solutions enhance the liveability and efficiency of cities.

Civic participation: For Shapers, collective action is central to influencing decision-making.

Climate change: Shapers are driving climate action in their local communities.
