Overview

The music industry is a global multibillion-dollar industry and as long as there have been people there has been music. Specifically, within the percussion section of the music industry, a need was identified toward more durable, adaptable and even more customised drumsticks. The majority of drumsticks have always been made from wood and more specifically American Hickory which thus gives the USA a great and almost monopolised hand in the market. As confirmed and known to all drummers, drawbacks with wooden sticks relate to rapid wear and thus the need for frequent replacement. Furthermore, buying a pair of unbalanced and unmatched sticks is also not uncommon and can be very frustrating for the musician due to the inconsistency of the product and the non-uniform density of all wood.
