The BELNASA Youth Forum (BYF) alongside the World Bank country office is looking for dynamic youth volunteers residing in Botswana; eSwatini; Lesotho; Namibia and South Africa to join as part of our official task team working closely with the forum secretariat and its stakeholders in executing projects and initiatives. The BELNASA Youth Forum (BYF) is a self-organized collective of young people from Botswana; eSwatini; Lesotho; Namibia and South Africa (BELNS). The purpose of the forum is to mainstream the voices of young people from diverse backgrounds and sectors in socioeconomic decision-making processes whilst driving critical dialogue; action and initiative both within and beyond the World Bank Group.

APPLICATION CRITERIA:

  • Must be between the ages 18 - 27 years at the time of application close.
  • Must reside in Botswana; eSwatini; Lesotho; Namibia or South Africa.
  • Must be willing to commit time for key forum activities throughout the membership period.
  • A strong interest in socioeconomic-related matters is an advantage.
  • Proven track record of community or youth development initiatives is an advantage.
