Antimonia is an easy to use, reliable and robust point of care diagnostic device, which uses nucleic acid amplification techniques to differentiate between bacterial and viral pneumonia in 40 minutes during diagnosis. The combination of high sensitivity and specificity provides excellent diagnostic capabilities and the platform can be used to screen up to 26 target pathogens at the same time. The technology will aid health care practitioners to provide efficient treatment to patients and reduce the number of infants death due to incorrect diagnosis and treatment.
